Live Able Program

The Live Able Program is a 12-week personalized coaching program that helps people living with neurological conditions better understand their health, build supportive habits, connect to resources, navigate challenges, and create a clear, sustainable roadmap for living well.

Neurological Physical Therapy

Specialized in-home neurological physical therapy services are available for individuals who may benefit from skilled, one-on-one assessment and treatment to support their movement, mobility, balance, and function. This is not your ordinary, run-of-the-mill physical therapy. This is specialized physical therapy that blends evidence, experience, and a whole-person approach that honors your body, your brain, and who you are beyond your diagnosis.

Other services, upon request:

  • Individual Coaching Sessions — Personalized, one-on-one support for a specific goal, challenge, or transition, without committing to the full program.

  • General Fitness — Personalized sessions to build strength, mobility, balance, and endurance, offered virtually or in-home.

Why Work With Me

This isn't generic coaching and physical therapy. It's services from a neurological physical therapist with 17 years of clinical experience, known across Atlanta for my work with Parkinson's disease and other neurological conditions. I understand what's happening in your brain and body, I know the local resources, and I've walked alongside people through every stage of a diagnosis.

The Live Able Program

A neurological diagnosis can leave you with a lot of information—but not always a clear sense of what to do with it or how to move forward in your everyday life.

The Live Able Program is a personalized 12-week coaching program designed to help you better understand your diagnosis and symptoms, build nervous system capacity through healthy lifestyle habits tailored to your needs (including exercise, nutrition, sleep, and stress management), and navigate the emotional and personal impact of living with a neurological condition. With education, resources, practical strategies, and individualized support along the way, we'll bring the pieces together into a cohesive plan so you feel informed, confident, and empowered to take an active role in your health and live well.

What We’ll Explore

Your plan will be personalized to where you are in your journey, what you’re navigating now, and what matters most to you. While everyone’s plan will look a little different, our work may include:

🌿 Understanding Your Condition
Better understand your diagnosis, symptoms, and what they mean for your health and everyday life.

🌿 Supporting Your Health & Well-Being
Build personalized, sustainable habits around exercise, nutrition, sleep, stress management, and other lifestyle factors that support your brain and body.

🌿 Navigating Everyday Life
Develop practical strategies for managing symptoms, adapting to changes, solving everyday challenges, and continuing to do more of what matters to you.

🌿 Navigating Healthcare & Building Your Team
Learn to ask better questions, advocate for your needs, make informed decisions, find helpful resources, and build a healthcare and support team that works for you.

🌿 The Emotional & Personal Side
Make space for the uncertainty, emotions, changing roles, relationships, and shifts in identity that can come with living with a neurological condition—and explore what living well means to you.

Throughout the program, we’ll turn what you’re learning into practical, meaningful steps that fit your life. We’ll experiment, adapt, and bring the pieces together into a cohesive Roadmap that can continue to evolve with you.

Neurological Physical Therapy

Live Able Collective offers in-home neurological physical therapy for adults who want skilled, hands-on care to support their movement, mobility, balance, and function. My approach is a mix of research, experience, and intuition based on the clients’ needs as a whole person. Working with people with movement disorders is my specialty, however I enjoy working with people with other neurological conditions.

I keep a small, focused caseload so every client gets real time and individualized attention. Working in your home means we focus on the stairs, floors, bathroom, and daily routines you actually deal with, not just exercises in a clinic.

Neurological physical therapy may be a good fit if you:

✓ Are living with a neurological diagnosis, such as Parkinson's disease, MS, stroke, brain injury, dystonia, or dysautonomia, or other condition

✓ Have noticed a change in your balance, mobility, strength, or endurance

✓ Have an autonomic condition, such as dysautonomia

✓ Have had a recent fall, near-fall, or hospitalization

✓ Have freezing or festinating of gait

✓ Have difficulty rising from the floor, a chair, or bed

✓ Have never had physical therapy for your condition, or aren't sure what exercise is safe or appropriate for you

What we may work on

Your plan will be based on a thorough evaluation and what matters most to you. It may include:

🌿 Balance and fall prevention
🌿 How to fall safely
🌿 Walking and mobility
🌿 Gait training and strategies for freezing or festination
🌿 Strength and endurance
🌿 Energy conservation and pacing
🌿 Safe transfers and getting around your home
🌿 Home safety and fall-risk reduction
🌿 Assistive device selection and training
🌿 Sensory integration and awareness
🌿 Autonomic regulation strategies for fatigue, dizziness, and dysregulation
🌿 Dual-task training (walking or moving while thinking, talking, or carrying something)
🌿 Strategies for symptoms specific to your condition
🌿 Amplitude training, such as Parkinson's Wellness Recovery
🌿 Caregiver education and training

How Sessions Work

We'll start with a 75-minute in-home evaluation to understand your history, current mobility, and goals, and to build a plan of care specific to you. From there, we'll schedule 60-minute sessions in your home, with frequency based on your needs, your diagnosis, and your goals. Some clients are seen weekly, others less often, and your plan can adjust as you progress or as your needs change.
